Fine examples therefore come from earlier discoveries and existing collections, adding considerably to the scarcity of well-preserved Ajoite in Quartz from this locality.\u003c\/span\u003e These slices were from points in the collection of the land owner.  The points were badly weathered and slicing them has enabled the internal beauty to shown.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAjoite is a copper-bearing silicate recognised by its distinctive turquoise-blue to blue-green colour.
