The crystal photographed is the crystal you will receive.

Due to crystals being a natural product, this crystal may have some minor imperfections on the outer surface

The historic Messina mines closed in 1992 and this material is no longer being produced from the original workings. Fine examples therefore come from earlier discoveries and existing collections, adding considerably to the scarcity of well-preserved Ajoite in Quartz from this locality. These slices were from points in the collection of the land owner.  The points were badly weathered and slicing them has enabled the internal beauty to shown.

Ajoite is a copper-bearing silicate recognised by its distinctive turquoise-blue to blue-green colour. At Messina, it developed in association with Quartz during successive stages of mineral growth, becoming enclosed within the crystal as later Quartz formed around it.

ENERGY PROPERTIES

Ajoite is associated with emotional release and a deep sense of inner peace. It is believed to help ease inner tension, negative thought patterns and feelings of sorrow, allowing difficult emotions to be acknowledged and released rather than carried forward. It can help restore joy and optimism, while encouraging the strength and confidence needed to move forward with a more positive outlook.

Ajoite has long been valued as a stone of peace, compassion and emotional purification, helping to bring greater harmony to both the inner self and relationships with others.

Clear Quartz is associated with clarity of mind, helping to reduce confusion and bring greater focus and understanding.

Together, Ajoite in Quartz offers emotional clarity, renewed optimism and a deeper sense of peace and spiritual connection.
