OUR STORY

Founded in London in 2009 by Matt and Victoria Forster, Venusrox was created from a shared passion for natural minerals and a belief that they deserved to be seen differently.

From the beginning, the intention was to move beyond the conventional language of the crystal world and present natural minerals for what they are: remarkable formations shaped by nature, each with its own structure, colour, provenance and presence. The first Venusrox showroom opened in Notting Hill in November 2011, providing a calm, considered setting in which every piece could be appreciated individually.

Matt and Victoria select every mineral themselves. Their choices are informed by rarity, provenance and geological significance, but also by qualities that are harder to define — balance, depth, movement, composition and the immediate presence of the piece itself. Some are dramatic and sculptural, others quieter and more subtle, but each is chosen because something about it stands apart.

The collection brings together natural crystal formations, polished forms, significant interior pieces and jewellery. Larger minerals are increasingly placed within private homes, offices and hospitality spaces, where their scale and natural structure give them a presence that no manufactured object can reproduce.

Venusrox has always maintained space for the personal connection people have with minerals. For some, that connection is purely aesthetic. For others, it includes the energetic qualities traditionally associated with the stone. Venusrox does not prescribe how a piece should be experienced; the choice remains entirely personal.

Jewellery follows the same philosophy. Designed by Victoria, each piece begins with the natural stone itself. Colour, clarity, form and individuality determine the composition, with precious metals and signature Venusrox details used to support rather than overpower the material. From the recognisable Signature bracelets to Lineage, Heirloom and individually made pendants, the stone remains central.

Every individual piece shown for sale online is photographed as the actual piece available. Natural minerals and gemstones vary by their very nature, and Venusrox believes that individuality should remain visible rather than represented by a generic example.

Today, Venusrox operates from London and Abu Dhabi, serving clients internationally. The website presents only a selection of the wider collection, with further pieces available to view in the galleries and through private guidance.

Venusrox remains defined by the ability to recognise the exceptional.

Rarity, provenance and geological significance all inform our judgement, but no single quality determines it.
