An exceptional crystal of Elite Shungite from Shunga, Karelia, Russia

Our Elite Shungite (approx. 98% Carbon) is selected as stable, solid crystals and is sourced directly from the Shungite mine in Shunga. We are extremely selective in choosing stable crystals. We are also looking for the finest energetic properties and geological structure. Pieces exhibiting natural smooth, flat edges with more cuboid shape, are considered, geologically, the highest quality.

Only 1% of all Shungite found is Elite. It is a non-crystalline, semi-metallic mineraloid, made up of 98% carbon and is the most powerful and effective of the Shungite Grades. Due to its extreme brittleness, Elite Shungite is extremely difficult to polish and therefore nearly all Shungite of this grade is only available in rough form.
