An exceptionally beautiful 'Rainbow' Goethite on Quartz & Matrix Natural Crystal from the San Valentín Mine, La Unión, Murcia, Spain.

The iridescence (rainbow effect) is believed to occur due to a thin, natural layer of a mixture of Hematite and Goethite on the original Goethite.
